For more than three decades, Shehnai Restaurant has served authentic North Indian cuisine at 447 Main St W in Hamilton, Ontario, just east of Dundurn Street. Our daily lunch buffet, home-style curries and friendly welcome have made us one of Hamilton’s longest-running Indian restaurants.
Shehnai Restaurant first opened its doors in 1990, making it one of Hamilton’s longest-running Indian restaurants. Today it is independently owned and operated by Rahul Chettri, who stays hands-on in day-to-day operations — keeping the family-style, community-focused spirit that has served Greater Hamilton for decades.
Our lunch buffet is served every day until 2:30 PM, with a rotating selection of curries, tandoori items, vegetarian dishes, rice, salads and desserts. Hamilton City Magazine describes Shehnai as one of the few places in the city to enjoy an Indian buffet — a go-to for work lunches and small group gatherings.
